The choice of the browser you choose to use to navigate the net is definitely a personal one. We are more inclined to stick to the browser we are already familiar with and more comfortable operating. However, if Chrome is your window into the Internet, here are some good tips to keep in mind when using your browser. 1- Search the web from Chrome address bar
You can conduct a quick search right from the address bar of Chrome window. Simply type in your search words and hit ‘enter/ return’ key on your keyboard.
If you are using Chrome from your own computer, and as you enter your search query in the address bar, Chrome will display a set of suggested phrases or URLs with icons attached to them as shown below

You can also conduct a quick search from within any web page. Simply highlight the word or phrase and right click on it then select ‘search with Google’.

Incognito mode in Chrome allows you to navigate the web without leaving any trace of what you have visited or downloaded. Here is how to activate incognito mode:

For example, Chrome can use a web service to automatically offer completions for search terms or website addresses you type in the address bar. Most of these settings are turned on by default. You can turn them off whenever you want.

- 'Open a Chrome window
- In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu.
- Select New Incognito Window.
- A window will open with a gray figure in the top-right corner
- To close incognito mode, go to the corner of each of your incognito windows and click the X.
- Incognito mode isn't available if the account is a part of Windows 10's "Family Mode."
