Another Great Tool for Creating Buzzfeed-style Quizzes
August, 2015
Riddle has recently rolled out some new features that should be especially useful for the upcoming school year. For those of you not yet familiar with Riddle this is a great web platform that allows teachers to create their own PlayBuzz and Buzzfeed-style quizzes, lists, polls, and more. 'Riddle’s goal is to provide best-in-class tools that making creating interactive content simple, so you can concentrate on the content instead of worrying about the tool.'
Here are the newly released features as communicated to us by Mike Hawkins:
1- Quizzes with individual answer submission - teachers can now create quizzes, and instead of anonymous answers, they can have each user submit their choices (here's an example):
2- Rich text formatting - students and teachers can now jazz up their Riddles with bold, italic, bullets, and embedded links for better readability.
3- YouTube-friendly - any teacher can embed any YouTube video in their Riddle... perfect for showing a new clip, then asking for class opinions via a poll.
Riddle is totally free for individual users. It only charges for features that larger companies want.
