Here Is An Excellent Tool to Easily Create Quizzes, Polls and Forms from Google Docs
March 9, 2017
GFormIt is an excellent Google Docs add-on to use for auto-generating forms from your Google documents. We have tried it multiple times and it worked perfectly well but its only limitation is that it supports only one type of questions. As a teacher, you may want to use it to create quizzes and exams. You can also use it as a formative assessment tool to help you gather feedback from your students using polls and surveys created out of questions from a Google document.
The way GFormIt works is very simple: after you install it, open a Google document, write down your questions, featuring each question in a separate line ‘(and optionally an answer on the next line). Add a blank lines in-between each question or question-and-answer pair. Then choose "GFormIt for Docs" from the "Add-ons" menu and "Generate Form” to create the Google Form and Google Sheet for responses. Upon completion, those auto-generated documents will show up in your Google Drive, and a convenient e-mail with links will be sent to you. More information is available by selecting "About GFormIt" or "Help" from the menu as well as at edcode.org..’
